Amy A

I just don't have enough words to express how cute I think Amy A is! She is a fellow newbie photographer ~ We actually have the exact same camera! We decided to go on a two-way photo shoot so we could take turns getting more experience by being behind the camera and also get some fun pictures of ourselves! It was SO windy out, but we found this awesome blueish-purple barn that made the colors pop like crazy! We shot in a couple other places as well, but the barn ones were by far my favorite!

How cute is this!?

 Sassy!

Amy has this thing for jumping pictures. We couldn't do a shoot together without getting one in!

Getting a little goofy!

Experimenting with editing...

Gorgeous girl!

Welcome to the Bag Lands

I spent the second week of March in San Antonio, Texas, of all places. Why, you ask? Because this year San Antonio was the site of the Men and Women's Division II Swimming and Diving National Championship Meet! (How's that for a mouthful!) The team did an awesome job and we had a lot of fun together. We ate out, walked the river walk, went shopping, saw the Alamo, and also did a TON of swimming! Here are some pictures I took during the week.

I know this picture isn't the best quality, but I just had to put it up because it's Kobe!! The Lakers were staying at the same hotel as us and we got to be paparazzi as they left for a game the first day we were there.

A view of the river walk from a bridge near our hotel.

A view of the pool from both ends. We spent a lot of time here!

I just love the angles in this pic

I LOVED this staircase!

Fun with the girls!

The best cheesecake I have ever eaten in the Hard Rock Cafe.

Awesome detail on this building.

This is Josh Davis, a previous world record holder and three-time olympic gold medalist. Yes, that is one of his gold medals around my neck! Talk about cool!

And to wrap up this post, some of the guys goofing off...

Oh, and it might be necessary to explain the title of this post... The team was joking as we drove to the pool one day that a certain area looked really trashy, and we started calling it the "bad lands." Then we drove past a field that was full of plastic bags in the weeds, tree branches, and fencing. We decided a more appropriate name was actually the "bag lands" and said so every time we passed that field, which was four times every day!

Katie G

Wow, talk about a fun afternoon! I spent about 3 hours taking pictures of my beautiful friend Katie G. She just got hired by a modeling agency and needed to start putting together a portfolio, so she asked me to take some pictures for her! It was very easy for me, with such a pretty subject, I'm just glad she liked my work! We were both very pleased with how they turned out.

Megan's Senior Pictures

When I was in Florida I had the awesome opportunity to do a senior photo shoot with my long time friend Megan! This was the first time I have ever really done portraits, so I was pretty nervous, but we had a great time together and even ended up with some shots we both like! It was a win-win day for sure.

And my personal favorite...
